What Flagler Beach does to a window
Flagler Beach is only a few blocks wide, and the east wind carries ocean salt all the way across to the Intracoastal. On the A1A side it dries on the glass within days and bakes into a haze in the afternoon sun. Left for a season on an east-facing slider it will start to etch, and that is glass you cannot clean your way back to.
The canal homes off Lambert Avenue and Palm Drive get the salt a little slower, plus mineral spots from well-fed sprinklers and the pollen that blows in from the pines west of the bridge. The condo owners at the south end have the usual beach-building problem: the association washes the outside once in a while, but the inside of the glass, the tracks and the screens are yours.

How often should windows be cleaned in Flagler Beach?
Every two months for anything facing the ocean, and quarterly for the canal homes and the homes along the Intracoastal. Oceanfront sliders can need a monthly exterior wipe in the windy months from October to March. Most people have the inside glass done once a year.
Do you work in the gated communities?
Yes. We work in Sea Watch, Palma Vista, Ocean Palm and the south-end condo buildings, as well as the gated homes along John Anderson Highway. Just add us to your gate list or tell us the procedure when you book.
Can you remove hard water spots from sprinklers?
In most cases, yes. Mineral spots from sprinkler overspray need a dedicated treatment rather than regular cleaning. Tell us about them on the quote form and we will look at them on the first visit.
